Amanda Hayes has dedicated her life to nurturing, guiding, and inspiring children and that calling began at an early age. At just 19 years old, Amanda opened and operated her own Christian daycare, driven by a deep love for children and a strong desire to make a difference. She successfully ran the daycare until 2013, when she and her family relocated to the Florida Panhandle.

Amanda’s passion for children is deeply rooted in both her personal and professional life. As a mother of five and a former foster parent alongside her husband, she understands the incredible value of providing a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment where children can thrive. Her experiences as a parent and caregiver have shaped her belief that every child deserves to be seen, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

After moving to Florida, Amanda continued to invest in young lives through youth ministry and by previously working at a private Christian school, further deepening her commitment to faith-based education.

The vision for EPIC Prep Academy was born from Amanda’s own challenges with homeschooling her daughter. She longed for a space where her daughter could receive a quality education in a community grounded in faith, values, and flexibility. That desire led to the creation of a Christian microschool. A model that blends the freedom of homeschooling with the structure of a supportive school environment.

Today, Amanda leads EPIC with the same heart that drove her at 19, now backed by decades of hands-on experience as an educator, ministry leader, mother, and foster parent. At EPIC Prep Academy, every child is known by name, every parent is a partner, and education is deeply personal.
